Become a PM in ATC and work in the following areas (multimedia processing, wireless and networking, search engine, data mining, computer graphics, signal processing, speech technologies, and natural language technologies).

Requirements:

1. Passionate about understanding, managing and satisfying customer expectations. Great people skills even when working under pressure.

2. At least 3 years of software development or program management experience working on commercial software. Having the experience of managing a product through a complete cycle is preferred.

3. A strong understanding of the software development process, demonstrated skill in writing specifications, and the ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to create designs and to identify and manage dependencies, and drive to resolve issues and ship.

4. Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

5. BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or equivalent preferred.

6. Familiarity with one or more of the technology areas listed above preferred.

职位任务：
1. Manage the development process of product group funded projects at ATC. This includes communicating with the product group sponsors, writing specifications, coordinating development and testing activities, and ensuring the successful completion of projects with high quality and timeliness.

2. Become familiar with the product group’s future product plans and proactively engage the product group to use new technologies developed by the MSRA research and ATC team.

3. For PM Lead and Group PM, in addition to working with product team, the person will also manage and mentor PM’s working on other ATC projects. Therefore, the person should have quick grasp of new technologies and have previous experience in managing people.
