Are you a strong test manager looking for a change? Are you a very experienced test lead looking for the next step? Do you want to be part of the most exciting changes at the history of Microsoft Research Asia? If yes, this position can be the right one for you. Microsoft Research Asia is looking for a strong Test Manager to help build and manage a top quality test team for the newly formed Advanced Technology Center in Beijing. In this position you will be responsible for recruiting test leads and test engineers to form a top quality test team. Internally you will work with ATC project development manager and program manager to define test strategy, identify required test tools and harnesses, oversee test execution and test tools development, guide, mentor and grow people in your team. Externally you will also work closely with development, localization, test and build teams from product group who funds our ATC project to improve daily communication process and address problems such as daily build drop, bug tracking, and bug triage. You will be responsible for quality assurance of all ATC projects in the incubation pipeline. The ATC projects you will work on are in the following areas: Natural Language Processing, Internet Media, Speech, Media Computing, Media Management, Visual Computing, User Interface, Wireless and Networking, Internet Graphics.
职位要求：
l At least 5 years managing test teams;
l Strong testing, management, problem solving, communication and decision making skills; good fundamental programming knowledge; good knowledge of miscellaneous test methodologies, techniques and harnesses;
l Experience of managing testing during complete product cycle for at least one commercial product;
l "Lead by example" attitude and passion about shipping high quality products,
l Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
l A BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
